Durethan® and Pocan® are plastic materials on the rise, offering outstanding potential for growth and innovation. They also make a strong contribution to our Semi-Crystalline Products (SCP) Business Unit.
Business Units
Butyl, the only existing rubber that is not permeable to air, is the keystone of the segments operations. The product family comprises butyl, bromobutyl and chlorobutyl rubber.
Many of the world's leading tire producers and other innovative sectors rely on LANXESS's experience and quality in the areas of polybutadiene and styrene butadiene-rubber.
The unit's products are made into technical-grade articles and tires or used as modifiers for plastics and as adhesive raw materials
Our plastics are particularly suitable for applications in the automotive and electrical/electronics industries.
